Procedure to Add Hurricane Shutters to Your Condo Unit

Shutter Types Allowed are: Beige or White Accordion or Roll ups !

"No Other Types are Allowed!"

August 24, 2009: At this Time, the City of Sunrise will ONLY Approve Permits

For Shutters on Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom, Side windows, and ONLY on

the Outside of the Sliding Glass Doors of Units with Enclosed Patios with

Awning Window Panel Walls !

1. Get a Estimate from the Shutter company, along with proof of the Contractors
Occupational License, General Liability Insurance, Workman's Comp Insurance
or Exemption, Proof of Dade County Product Approval, and a Diagram or
Picture of Shutters to be installed.

2. You must then Apply for Permission to Add Shutters to your Condo unit , You
Must complete a " Covenant to Run With the Land" Document and Submit Copies
of all of Contractors Documents and Return to the office for Approval.

3. The Contractor MUST Obtain a Valid Building Permit for Your Unit, from the
City of Sunrise, and Post on Your Property Before any Work is Started.
